Welcome to the Nobleton Lions Club

The Lions Club of Nobleton was formed in 1962. In 2018 we celebrate 56 years of proud history which has enabled us to make significant contributions to our community. Your support is greatly appreciated by the Lions, and those who we support, in keeping with our motto,  "We Serve".

Pancake Supper

Several hundred guests, like those pictured here, enjoyed a delicious pancake supper, including ham and sausages, at the Old Community Hall on Shrove Tuesday 2018. Winner of the 50/50 draw was Eric Gray. Special thanks go to Lion Tony Peters, the event coordinator (who may not have served his last sausage,) and Lions Doug, Olaf, and Bob, sweating in the kitchen, and all the rest of the Lions on deck. Proceeds of the night will be donated to the Nobleton Skating Club.

Donation for Nobleton Skating Club

Karlene MacDonald and Tanya Wallgren of the Nobleton Skating Club were presented with a donation supporting the financial needs of the club by Vice President Earl Groombridge and President Rick Zuzek at the February 5 2018 Lions Club meeting.

Annual Golf Fundraiser

The 2017 Lions Golf Tournament was held at the Nobleton Lakes Golf Club on June 4, in a break in the rain just in time for the golfing. It was a great success again this year as 144 golfers participated and over $20,000 was raised in support of mainly local community organizations. Thanks go to over 65 corporate and private sponsors, and especially to Lion Latif Kassam for his hard work in organizing the event.

2017 Walk for Dog Guides

On May 28, local residents and their dogs walked in support of the annual Walk for Dog Guides which raises funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada (LFC) initiative to train and place dog guides for people with visual or other physical disabilities. It is spearheaded in Nobleton by resident Bev Berger and Lion Jim McDonald. This year over $9000 was raised for this worthwhile cause. For more information about how you can donate...
